Photos of the Moon

I Took Photos of The Moon (Not Really)

Well, poot. NaBloPoMo Fail. I missed yesterday. I am disappointed about it, but I also admit it was a semi-conscious decision, especially when it got late and I was working on my recap of The Good Wife. We’re still in Maryland, spending time with friends and having a great time. As it was, I already missed some friend time because of the recap, plus working on two articles I had to finish up, so I kind of decided I needed a break. We’re leaving Maryland tomorrow morning to visit Alex’s family in Virginia, for Thanksgiving (of course), and my family is coming down to join us. It’ll be fun, and still busy, but I wanted to make sure I didn’t give up on the whole NaBloPoMo challenge. So for Day 23, here are a number of photos I’ve been meaning to post for a few days.

I took these awesome photos with my iPhone, from the plane flying from Burbank to Colorado. I love getting a window seat for exactly this reason, and while more often than not the view is not that interesting (glare, just blank sky), in this case the view was stunning. We were low enough that we were below the clouds and could see the land clearly. I love the light on the horizon, and there’s snow on the ground in some places. I remember snow! It was gorgeous and really cool looking. I felt like I was flying over the moon.

I took photos of the moon!

I’m really pleased with how these photos came out. I hope you enjoy them too.
